We will be staying with the open bombing format. This is the way we did it in RBWL, Warforces, and Coldwar. It made for endless fun, and lots of chances to rack up points! We would like to see people using teamspeak comms this time if possible. Also what we used to do to coordinate back in the day. rb3d.boards.net/board/36/teamspeak-serverRead in there how to install. Don't give out the TS server info to the public please. Any questions? Please ask and I will assist.

I liked the open bombing format. I like not having to keep an eye on the clock, trying to figure out if I have time to get back over or not, etc.

No violations.....nice!
Wish I had could have flown. I tried getting my JS to work while the war raged. If anyone has a program which will work with Thustmaster HOTAS 1 in Ubuntu...and ideally one which can program two keys to one button...e.g. f5+ E, F, L, N.....please let me know. I haven't been able to use dual-key/single-button programming in YEARS. Starting to look at TrackIr.
Ain't going back to Windows where that JS setup is ez breezy.

I've never looked into a separate js program. I've always lived with the buttons that came with my MS Sidewinder; seemed ok out of the box with RB3D on both XP and Win 10. But can anyone recommend a good progam that I could use with this settup? It would be nice to reprogram some buttons.

Haven't found an app that allows 2 keys per button yet under linux. Sucks because half my dam buttons are dead now. Believe me, if it exsisted, I'd have found it. My only saving grace is my dam trackir, it eliminates the need for most view keys and the hat.....

I remember when trackir came on the scene in red baron ....lasted about a week until they found out that they where the equivalent of a fish in a barrel against normal red baron views.

Well I never learned normal fighting views, and my hat switch doesn't work, so trackir is 100x better than what I had. Think I could actually learn to fight with it as well. A week isn't enough to learn anything. People and new tech.... jeez. I'll double up my points next round.....

One of our Vets flies TrackIR in War@4.....and he is all there. I am thinking of trying it...I like the way the world looks in CJs video....The question for me is...can I still use keyboard snapviews if my JS is programmed with f5+ I suspect there are some TrackIR-RBers of yor who could do some serious A-kicking...
